My Makeup Routine / Favorite Products

I've been meaning to do a makeup post for a while now guys, but haven't gotten around to it. Yesterday I snapped a few selfies though, and they showed off my basic everyday makeup so well I figured I would sit down and finally do it.

First off let me say, I do not wear makeup everyday. Mostly because I am a stay at home mom, and my days rarely consist of me having to go anywhere I would need to impress. But when I do, I keep it pretty simple. I'm a Makeup Artist and therefore have a lot of makeup, but I literally use the same 10 products every time I do my makeup, ha ha, I find it ridiculous...but hey.  I am not adventurous at all with eye shadow colors. I keep it basic with a nude lid color, MAC Handwritten in the crease and a little of whatever matte black is on hand. I spend most of my time making sure my skin looks amazing with contouring and highlighting.

These are the products I use primarily. The palette to the far left I just started using, and am liking very much.
Foundation: MAC Studio Fix in NW47
Primer: MAC Prep and Prime
Setting Powder: (I only set my concealer) Ben Nye Banana Powder or MUFE HD
Mascara: Lash Stiletto by Maybelline
Lips: I have been wearing this for the past month, in LOVE with it, Palladio Lipliner in Chianti , ELF Mineral         Lipstick in Rosy Tan , Nanacoco Lipgloss in Hidden Desire
Eyeshadow: MAC Handwritten
Liner: Loreal Infallible Super Slim Liquid Eyeliner

I didn't take a picture of the product I use for contouring, but it is the Ben Nye MediaPro HD Creme Shadow in Rich Brown . This has been the best contour product I have found so far for darker skin, if you like that defined contour look.

For highlighing I alternate between these 3 concealers. I never liked using the Select Cover up under the eye, but this past week I have been trying it with my Beauty Blender and its turned out okay. I'm actually wearing that in the photos above. I primarily use the first one, which is MAC'S Mineralize Concealer in NW45 which works well on its own for highlighting. And on days when I look like I haven't gotten enough sleep, I layer with a small amount of the Pro Longwear for an added brightness. That is in the shade NW30..(emphasis on a LITTLE of that, you'll end up looking crazy if your my complexion packing that shade on).

Palette: Coastal Scents Go Palette in Beijing
Blush Palette: Coastal Scents 42 Double Stack Shimmer Palette

I just purchased the Beijing Palette on Black Friday. Like I said, I don't use much color on my lids, but I've been using the one on the far left and the far right in the middle row, quite often. I used those in the crease on the photos above. I love that gold shimmery blush color, and use it to highlight my cheekbones.

So I think that is pretty much everything. I do use a burgundy blush daily, but also forgot to snap a shot of that. I hope that this was of some help and that you enjoyed this post. There will be more makeup posts to come. If you have any questions feel free to leave them in the comments. Stay Glamorous! xoxo
